Rocky Taylor
Associate Pastor
Rocky serves as Associate Pastor at FBC GracePoint, where he leads our Pastoral Care Ministries and continues to share his deep love for worship. With decades of ministry experience and a heart for shepherding, Rocky oversees hospital visits, prayer support, and care for those navigating challenging seasons, ensuring our church family is spiritually supported and loved well.
Rocky holds a B.A. in Church Music from Gardner-Webb University and a Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since July 1994, he has faithfully served FBC GracePoint, having previously ministered in churches across North Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
Originally from North Carolina, Rocky is an avid UNC Tar Heels fan. He and his late wife, Ellen, have two grown children—Robbie and Melody —as well as two beloved grandchildren, Hannah Marie and Joshua Christopher.
